The combination of AI Technologies and Literature !

TENSILE seeks to encourage collaboration across different subjects, foster innovative learning methods, and implement competency-based teaching in secondary education. This is achieved by creating a novel STEAM methodology that integrates core principles of Artificial Intelligence and Computational concepts within Literature studies. By adopting this methodology, educators can introduce fresh perspectives and teaching approaches, engaging students in creative and innovative ways.

TENSILE will:

Develop a Digital Lab with applications/tools supporting STEAM-oriented projects combining AI and Literature making them available online complemented with lesson plans (use cases)
Design a course about the TENSILE approach offering practical guidelines for use in the classroom
Pilot the Digital Lab and course with a community of European schools and evaluate the teachers feedback.
Increase the project impact through a dedicated activities.

Through the project, Educators engage students in STEAM education endeavors, guiding them in algorithmic thinking and machine learning processes. This facilitates students' exploration of literature as creators, addressing contemporary societal issues. Simultaneously, the participating teachers can assume leadership roles by mentoring educators from various disciplines, encouraging the development of interdisciplinary learning frameworks.
